Having one child and two adults as performers in mind, Three Monkeys was composed for my goddaughter, Phoebe (5-year-old then), who premiered it along with her mother and I in 2009 in Colorado, USA. The piece represents recollections of fond memories from my childhood, and my love of storytelling.
